AS FAMILY MEMBERS
Created miraculously and mightily from miry clay
Individually, we are earthly, yet possessing image of the Deity’s ray.
Binding us members of humankind is the Almighty’s lovingkindness
Toward redemption for spiritual growth and functional goodness.
Yes, we are what we are because of God and His grace*
He defines our being and shapes our becoming in life’s race.
Acknowledging our frail human nature, we need divine presence
And the Saviour directs us with illumining iridescence.
As the Lord strengthens our faith that trusts His heart
We, church members, march on midst trials, conquering limitation dart.
Despite turmoil bringing worry and misery
Our confidence cling to Him for assured victory.
Though we as family members experience conflict, struggle, and strife
Through Christ, our differences are like the pieces of a puzzle called life.
Indeed, our prayer as Christian family is yearning for sublime enlightenment
As the Holy Spirit empowers our reaching-out engagement.
*2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
