As Each Night I Sit and Cry
How can I tell you
You broke my heart today
Can I just go on
Unhappy, like this another day
How can I tell you
From your arms I have fell
All the hurt inside
Was it your intention sending me to hell?
I never thought
You would become so cold
Always felt I would
Forever have you to hold
Oh baby so many nights
I have felt empty and alone
While I would sit and wonder
Why you couldn't just pick up the phone
So I as sit to write this letter
To sadly ask you why
I feel my life is over
As each night I sit and cry
