As Beautiful As Ii
AS BEAUTIFUL AS II*
(We are all created as beautiful as…)
1.
As beautiful as the light that raptures at dawn
And the gentle caress of the morning’s breeze
As beautiful as the melody of a bird’s early song
And a flower’s perfume that scents with ease
2.
As beautiful as the mountains that pierce through the sky
And the clothed in green soft rolling hills,
As beautiful as the brooks that pass close by
And the glorious valleys where grass the earth drills
3.
As beautiful as the trees that stand with pride
And the colorful foliage that dresses them to ground,
As beautiful as the birds that in their nests go to hide
And the colorful plumage that their bodies surround,
4.
As beautiful as the grace of a placid lake
And the screaming beauty of the thunderous falls,
As beautiful as a spring that water can make
And the river’s murmur that life gently calls
5.
As beautiful as the waves that the ocean ride
And the hovering foam that to each puts a crown,
As beautiful as the corals that in the deep we find
And the courteous fish that swim all around
6.
As beautiful as the beams of the setting sun
And the scattering clouds that are set all aflame,
As beautiful as the moon when the day is done
And the brightest stars that give sky fame
7.
As beautiful as the rainbow ever can be
And a radiant drop of dew on an exotic flower,
So beautiful, OUR LORD, us have created Thee
With THY compassionate and holy power!
