As Autumn's Breeze

As cold autumn’s breeze starts flowing
My heart treads on a mixed feeling
I still haven’t worn all my summer dresses
Haven’t had enough sun in my tresses
But I love the bright hues of autumn leaves
Change is lovely, it makes me believe
The sidewalks have a yellow, orange coating
Which stops kids from running or skating.
Soon, Jack Frost will lower the temperature
Making into snow all that hung as water
I love to watch the pristine flakes falling
Admire each crystal so unique in its making.
It’s winter storms and blizzards that make me wary
Driving to work in such conditions is always scary
