As Above So Below
Ancient wisdom ~ as above, so below
So if God exists, He must be within
Contemplating calmly in stillness slow
Relinquishing all knowing, we begin
Poised in the bardo, our inner eye sees
Head ovoid is in fact a cosmic egg
In it is dormant soul, sleeping at ease
Though for freedom, it earnestly does beg
When soul seeks God alone, we see egg split
From it emerges, male and female forms
One becomes two, when lamp of love is lit
Their descent to heart gives rise to bliss storms
Heart’s search for joy, in this way satisfied
Ego shorn, twice born, soul’s tale simplified

Bliss energised, we become living light
From fetters that bound us, soul is untied
Truth of existence is seen by clear sight
Bliss imbibed must be assimilated
God’s bountiful grace pervades body prism
Heightened rapture fills us, heart’s elated
Ascent is enabled by magnetism
Attention softens, with love we conform
Voids within fill as we surrender will
A sublime energy grid loops our form
Our mindful eye becomes tranquil and still
Embodied within then, is light of Self
Music of the spheres, plays on by itself

Nodes gyrate and polarities rotate
There remains no agenda on our shelf
Each breath we take, finds us at heaven’s gate
The dance divine is a playful parlance
As a receptor, we enjoy the show
Twin aspects within us attain balance
Wisdom transcending mind, we get to know
Ardhnarishwara, is what we become
Male and female aspects, entwined as one
The void is our home, where we are welcome
Our self-existent light shines like the sun
Nothing need be done, love leads, we follow
Ancient wisdom ~ as above, so below
