As a Student At the Library

Laying my head on the table,
And the table becomes me,
Still, like the night,
And I ask, When will my life begin?
I dreamt myself a prince,
Who will one day meet a girl,
Who will one day set forth,
Then I wake to find myself,
Dreaming dreams still,
Like that table,
And I ask what lies beyond,
"Dreams," says the table,
Standing still, I still wonder
Will my life ever begin?
