As a Horse
I love being free in the wild,
racing with my fellow herds,
as we graze and enjoy each other's
company.
Man gradually managed to tame us,
working side by side with us in sports,
transport, entertainment and wars.
Oh, this thing called war!
Most of my ancestors lost their lives
in Crusadic wars, Jihadist wars,
World War I, and other gruesome
battles.
Today, I gallop around the fields,
enjoying the cypress-sceneted breeze,
hoping that one day my descendants or I will race
with the other herds across the plains and grassfields.....
