As a Dad
As a dad, who am I kidding?
I never expected that I would
Ever be a dad. As in I did not
Think I would ever experience
Another human being calling
Me, their dad.
I mean it’s not like I do not like
Being a dad it is just me being
A dad is something that was
unexpected for me.
I mean after all I can be considered
A loner, an outcast one who does not
Quite fit the norm of what a REAL man
Is supposed to me by the standards of
Corrupt society.
Yes little old me.
But it happened you are here and I am
There for you every year of your life.
Whether in person or in spirit I am
ALWAYS there, where, here with you.
As a dad your life existence has become my
Responsibility. So I respond to my ability
to be a presence of stability in my paternity
Energy.
I give thanks to the most high after all your
the apple of me and your mom’s eye.
A living angel in the real when your sad my
Child you come to me bold and courageous
never afraid to tell me how you feel.
We have fun together build memories in all my
years of life I never imagine that I would have my
own family.
As a dad I want to give you the best. Strengthen your
Angel wings so you can fly when your old enough to leave the
Nest.
Prep you for every life lesson because life is constantly testing
My one and only having you is truly a blessing.
As a dad you am me have a special bond that many
Others do not have growing up, so when others see
And acknowledge this they will be envious of you
Because you have something they do not have but
Only wish they had.
As a dad loving you and your mother is my number 1
Priority. You are a apart of me so everything you do I
Know I can not be fully mad at you because you are
A reflection of me.
