Artists

Mirrors of society
they pick up paint brush and daub the colours of life on canvas
seeing vulnerability
pushing dimensions
and adding complexity to a simple shape by contour

shading objects to tell a story
these makers of image explore varied and vast directions
putting fingers to paint
and paint to surface
sometimes drawing from within
and often drawing from without -

they bespeak of endless trails of thought
and political aspirations
while telling tales of radient enterprise
just look and you will see
a riot of tints and hues
juxtaposed against
the backdrop of
imagination.

A super piece - as an artist myself I find great insight in this poem! Liz
