With one stroke of my hand
I can be seen and felt
in ways to nourish the soul
I paint visual scenes on canvas
I paint visual scenes on paper
exploring emotion
desires from within
digging deep for a meaning
I interpret the world
through my voice and
through the pictures formed in my head
I am both an artist and a poet
working hand in hand
to be seen and felt
