Artist
If I knew words could be painted into a picture I would’ve become an artist a long time ago.
It’s amazing what wonderful pictures we can create, just by writing in black and white letters.
Could it be the words that act as the artist’s brush?
Or is it the noises they make when we read them?
Your words stretch out like a road
It’ll carry a reader down the highway of life
Bordered by letters on the shoulder.
When an artist writes about a tree, a tree is drawn
When an artist writes about a smile
A smile is grown.
Whatever the artist writes
It pops up like a picture,
A picture we cannot touch,
But can certainly see
Ah, how I love to see words form into a picture
Become a story with vivid imagery and movement.
I applaud all the artists who use words to paint
You guys are what make the world so much more beautiful.
