Artha

Her tongue is made of sulfur
Mud drowns the fields
Fine sand billows over deserts
Soil sprinkled over graves
Blood and sweat for charcoal
Swallowed tears, for potter’s clay
Niter, mortar, a vessel
To give birth, and to slay
