Notes About The Poem

ARKED AND READY:  A KWANZAA IMANI FOCUS

Monitoring all,

Nature made her decision;

Disaster rained down:-

The high waters rose,

Sinking life beneath the level:

Leaving hope floating:-

Like Noah, we wait;

Nature daming the waters:

Returning doves seen:-

Living our faith,

Spiritually nourished,

Let’s collectively journey

In divine wisdom’s guidance:-

Let not fear taunt us;

God’s rod and staff, protect us

From Satan’s shadows:-

God did not bring us this far,

To leave us here abandoned:-

With eyes on the prize,

Fueled by the Holy Spirit,

Let’s blast rolling rocks:

Let’s be beyond Sisyphus;

Climbing onwards with Jesus

P.S.  HAPPY NEW YEAR
