Arise

Arise

Beauty from ashes arises with tears dripping off her eyelashes.
It was the day everything broke.
No more games.
This was not a joke.
She had finally heard her name of all names.

Crying.
Almost dying.
Not one more lie.
Let out a deep breath.
Breathe a subtle sigh.
Girl, this is not your death.

She hid her phone.
Gripped the idea of being alone.
Formatted the new feeling in every bone.

A still small voice whispers in her ear.
Don't be afraid.
I'm right here.
I will arise.
And you likewise.
