* Are You There?

LORD,

It is me again.
I need you here,
Right now, this moment.
Are you there?

I need to talk.
About so many things.
My heart is burdened
by such pain.

I know your busy.
So many others needs,
are more important than mine.
Are you there?

I won't take long.
I need your arms,
wrapped around me letting
me know everything's alright.

I want to hear.
Your soft gentle voice whispering,
in my ear that, I am not alone.
That you right here.

Guiding me down the path.
I go willingly, as long as your,
by my side.
I will be your servant.

It is just me again.
Needing you so bad.
Right now, this moment.
Are you there?

Wow! You took the words of prayer right out of my head, Rhonda. We feel a great bit of humility when we ask for God's help. Surely, we think there are others with more pressing problems, those that "are more important than mine." I do believe He listens to all, but sometimes we don't sense the response we desired. Excellent write! Love, Carolyn

I am glad my heavenly have the whole world in his hand and i snever too busy to answer a prayer ... no, not one as passionate and urgent as this ... not one as therapeutic to readers like this ... not one so full of poetic honesty ... I am sure he loves you.
