Are You the Glue

i felt your closeness I heard your cry
I opened my arms I asked you why?
Are you the glue that my heart needs?
Cracked,broken,torn apart
Hacked up mess it is my heart
My mind is worse a fragile wreck
Are you the glue to fix this mess?
A soul within this walking corpse
How did I get so far off course?
I drew you in I hugged you tight
You are my strength for this fight
Are you the glue that my soul needs?
Filtered words of emotional heed
Broken, severed, torn apart
Walk away don't break my heart
