Are You Shamed of Me Or Our Relationship

We have been broken up over a year
And I know the way we split was horrible 
We both did fair share of hurting each other
But after a year here we are again together.
When one of your girl friends ask if you 
We are dating you simply say no with no problem
So Are you shamed to say that we are dating 
Or is it you are just shamed of dating and being seen with me.
I have loved you from day one
And I know we have had plenty of down's then ups 
But no Relationship is perfect
It takes time and work
It takes two have a relationship
Now I am asking you 
Do you want to be in this relationship with me or not
Because I am ready for a relationship
I am not trying to waste your or my time
So Just please tell me 
Instead of just avoiding the question.
Why? can't we just work it out
