Notes About The Poem

This was me as a child when I tried to end it.

Are You Ready

Are you ready to make the call?
It sits there asking questions.
It sits there with no warmth or
feeling at all.
Can you take anymore where
you’re not wanted to be?
Can you live with people who
don’t care about how and what
you feel?
Are you ready, are you ready
right now?
It’ll be over very quickly, no
more guilt, fear or constantly
feeling down.
Are you ready, you come with me.
Are you ready?
