Are You My Angel?
I had a dream
Late one night
It was beautiful
Not one filled with fright
I was in a garden
Flowers all around
So many colors
Sprinkled the ground
I laid down
And faced the sun
The day had
Just begun
Down came an angel
Beautiful and blue
Prettier than any flowers
That had grew
He whispered something
In my ear
But unfortunately
I could not hear
Then quickly
He disappeared
And would not come
Back I feared
I searched for him
High and low
Not knowing
Where to go
I asked around
But then I got bent
Because I had no idea
Where he went
I cried
Because he left
But still not knowing
Why I wept
Then I awoke
And my loved one
Stared at me
And my mind began to run
Was he the sweet angel
From my lovely dream
I looked up
And began to beam
He was my angel
Awake and asleep
Standing over me
To protect and keep
