Are You Easily Offended

Are you one who tends to be easily offended, By those you have loved and befriended? Do sometimes words that are often said, Cause you to wish someone would “drop dead?” You say that you love everyone the same, But in your heart, unforgiveness continues to reign. You think you’re walking in righteousness’ path, Yet you allow the sun to go down on your wrath. There’s a dwelling on a person’s past, holding hard feelings that continue to last. If you cannot forgive— you’ll not be forgiven, If heaven is your choice to be doing your livin’. Each day you must drop any offense aside, allowing Jesus to remove all bitterness and pride. May a sacrifice of love be what to Jesus you bring, as you focus on God’s word— l Corinthians Chapter 13… By Jim Pemberton 2005
