Are you at peace, or where memories grow?
I've been witnessing your face in the steady glow,
Where our feet once pranced, and affection used to flow
Your flame just burned out, a sorrow fueled show,
Are you at peace, or where memories grow?
The torch I held flickered, casting a spectacular woe,
Are you at the top of the world or down below?
In my heart's dark corners, where lost recollections go,
Oh, your flame just burned out, what pain this is to know
While rehearsing the dance, it became suddenly so low
