Are We There Yet?

I was Born.
You were Born.
Together we Began.

Together we had Children.
Our Children, they had Children.
And together they had even more Children.

Our Children Built, Build.
Explored, Explore.
Educated, Educate.
Questioned, Question.

Spoke.
Speak.

Refused to Listen.
Forgotten about Love.

Blood Spilt.
Bones Shattered.

Every Existence Questioned.
Every Religion Constrained.

Fathers and Sons Fall.
Mothers and Daughters Weep.

Political Leaders Rise.
Peace Keepers Collapse.

The World Rotates.
The Sun Rises.
The Hawks Fly.

Today, MUCH BLOOD SHED.
Tomorrow, MORE BLOOD SHED.
TOMORROW’S TOMORROW PERHAPS A FINAL END.
