Are They Real

A moment a space in time perhaps even forgotten
Minutes ticked away not to be regotten
Insignificant not one we were caught in
Never having birthed a moment not begotten

A thought never spoken
Never given substance uninvoking
Dismissed from reality revoking
A chain in this universe broken

A flower insignificant yet alive
Never being tended but survived
Still existed but its beauty never arrived
It's time gone wilted never having a chance to thrive

A heart never being awoken
Beating warm but never smoken
Does it still exist or just serves a purpose a place holding token
Or must a heart love to be real and chance being broken
