Arduous Delights

She felt utterly drenched 
 in his intoxicating  poetry
whetted her insatiable
   hunger for allegories'
     drunken semblances,
quenched an arid thirst  
     parched of reality,
as she fully indulged 
  a 'roused appetite
amidst gratifying
    brandied fruits &
abundantly aromatic spice
      of his arduous delights
