Apt Apology
“I couldn’t care less” is easy to say
When brushing off a critical slur
Or covering up something unkind
Said to excuse a thoughtless deed
If sincere regret is what’s in mind
Perhaps you should say, “Grrrrrrrr,
I could care less,” and slink away!
