April Showers
They say April showers,
Bring May flowers.
The days are long,
With their very own song.
The warm weather is here,
The nights are dear.
Walks in the park,
Get home before dark.
The sunny days,
Beautiful and friendly ways.
The kites fly high in the sky,
Friends come by.
Picnics in the park,
What a lark.
April is divine,
Ever so kind.
The song birds could be heard,
With nary a word.
