April Has Her Way
Listen to your blessings
Let the flowers flow around you
Colours of the season hold you in embrace
Fragrance wanders quietly into your
sensory space
The sun a kindred spirit
Holding back its shining glare
Bringing home a mellowed version
Warming smiles, showing that we care
The birds sing in joy of all the wonders
Of hope and new tomorrows
Filling your world with music
Stealing away your sorrows
The ripples of white in the sky
At times gentle, soothing blue
The leaves a fresh new green
New tales unfold on cue!
