April Fool's Snow

This April 1st is all snowy and dark,
With heavy wet snow that is no walk in the park.
We were hoping Spring was here to stay,
Instead the April Fool’s joke is on us today.
With this late Spring snow, it will increase our mud…
And falls on us like a big hard thud!

Brenda Mcgrath April 1, 2017 at 11:13 AM I was thinking of my friends in New Hampshire that got a snowstorm today. They weren't too happy to see it. Heidi Sands April 1, 2017 at 12:38 PM Thank you Brenda. I just wrote a poem about it called April Fool's Day and now see this one of yours. You are right. We aren't very happy about more on plenty already here in this area - it is like mid winter.
