April and Mother Earth

April is thirty

and fierce as Niagara 

she wets our pallet 

for spring fling with nature

she shows us, we are one.

Iris, this was a cute one. Like I am saying to many other poets, I hope you will try to use lines not capitalized if you pursue the writing of modern tanka. Congrats in my contest and thanks for entering.
