Approaching Summer
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Its another cold morning in the month of May,
The snow has gone, but the cold spell has stayed.
We must dress warm in the cool morning breeze,
But by noon it will have warmed up by twenty degrees.
We shed some of the warm clothes through out the day,
But as evening draws near, you will hear somebody say,
Where has the warm Sun gone? it made it so nice,
Some kids were in shorts, riding thier bikes.
I cant wait for the months of June and July,
When the cold snap has gone, and kids jump for joy.
Yards are raked up, trees are pruned,
All must be cleaned up that winter has ruined.
Digging up the garden, planting new seeds,
Surounding it with a fence ,so the animals wont feed.
Summers are too short in this part of the world,
Its hard on most animals, even little squirls.
But the good Lord and His goodness, has shown us the way,
To reap all the needed harvest, and still have time to pray.
