Approach of Death

Amidst of all, catched those eyes Immortality of affection in those… Was the only attraction for me, But the ignorance of that soul… Always let me to fade away that attraction, The painting of that affection Was full of colors until my arrival, Clocking ticking and the seasons' changing Colors started going away and….. And…and they slightly laughed at me For not respecting when they were with me, and then… I started climbing the ladder that leads to death Slowly and steadily I was getting near to its bed Feeling, of that darkness where nobody is alive, Started approaching me, and in a while Was about to hug me and its intentions…. Were not that truthful, it wanted to embrace me And it seemed that, that embrace would last forever.

truly lovely poem to read /// I'll see before sleeping; no rest will be with your tears, tissue of heart bites your all pain of eye cornea- a piece of death history will not come to you as the fest cake; rose will be undying friend......

Welcome to PoetrySoup Sunidhi. "the painting of that affection" is so well-penned! "I started climbing the ladder that leads to death" is beautifully written. I enjoyed the entire poem, but "the embrace would last forever" shows the reader what a beautiful soul you have. Well done! Please keep writing and better yet, please keep sharing.
