Appreciating Your Blessing
Appreciating Your Blessing
As we were looking back upon
The journey we've conveyed
How all its joys and triumphs
Have surely been outweighed
By a cloud that stays above us
Like a little black blockade
And keeps pouring rain upon us
While we're trying to evade
The puddles of our hardships
And this ongoing charade
Of trouble that befalls us
On our life long escapade
And every time we see the sun
We're right back in the shade
Praying that the hope we need
Will somehow come pervade
Fill us up with strength to lift
This burden that has weighed
Much more than we could carry
Without having you for aid
We hope you know we thank you
For the difference you have made
Someday your love and kindness
Is going to be relayed
