Apocalypse of the Crystal Heart

Apocalypse of the Crystal Heart

In this world of sorrow I stand alone like a jade butterfly in cosmic void,
every heartbeat of mine is pain that echoes through a universe left hollow,
after all this suffering what's left to gain inside the translucent darkness,
I shut the door on hope and let the agony pass like mercury through cold veins.

The street where we once walked together fades from sight like magic smoke,
tears wash away the memories of our sweetness melting them into black velvet,
my heart once a blossoming rose now aches beneath its own crystal thorns,
no sign of your love remains — only pain and tears of liquid silver falling.

Your kohl-black eyes that once set me ablaze now carry only sorrows,
no enchantment lives in them just grief burning like a dead psychedelic flame,
like waves abandoning the shore you drifted far into the cosmic ocean of forgetting,
your curls that used to dance around me now are lost somewhere in the void.

Your radiant smile that used to light my path has become a memory misplaced,
in the chaos of strangers where I search for you in vain through crowds of jade ghosts,
in this hollow where your love once lived there is nothing left remaining,
only the echo of your voice dissolving like wax in the translucent empty air.

Who can I ask why this pain refuses to end anywhere in all of eternity,
in this silent world where peace cannot merge with my bleeding soul,
where can I find one moment of comfort — one smile in the cosmic desert of living,
in what remains of life where hope is exiled like a cosmic outcast drifting.

My prayers are lost somewhere in this endless crystal sky above me,
each day with a broken voice I ask myself questions that hold no answers,
where did our roads divide — where did this whole magical catastrophe begin,
at what cosmic moment did the golden thread connecting our hearts finally break.
