Aphrodite

Ti's with the ancients that i dwell,
Across the ocean and a swell.

Ti's the place that i was born,
A place a mother that i mourn.

Ti's from the ocean she came,
Life of a goddess she did frame.

A place of merry and of vine,
Please bequeath me this divine!

In the heavens she did rule,
And many a mortal did she fuel.

Now in the waves and breaks i scan,
To see her beauty as a man.

Will the day and tide come for me;
To see her walk out of the sea?
