Anywhere But Home

Never thought I'll be here.
Somewhere near a broken place.
Why does it seem that I return back?
Why can I just take a break?

When will I live a little,
with nothing breathing down my back?
Can I be anywhere else?
Can I be anywhere but home?

Does it have to be the same fight?
When all I wanna do is be free?
Never thought I'll be stuck,
but what else to give up?

Been broken for far too long.
I swear I'll leave this alone.
Lost somewhere you won't find me,
cause I'll be anywhere but home.
