Anywhere

He promised her to make her smile,
brought just tears into brown eyes.
What started nicely, became a pile
of fears, regrets and loosened ties.

He promised her to provide care,
in the end, he was not there.
Numb mind, brain not found, blank stare,
(he) leaves her behind going anywhere.

He promised her to stay away,
what happens next he can not say.
Promises made, just words remain,
pain will fade but does the stain?
