Anyway
We both knew how it's gonna end
But we still loved anyway,
We both know I don't want to let you go
But you said goodbye anyway,
Yes I wanted to pretend I was strong
But I let my tears fall anyway,
I know you want to forget me
But you are still holding on to everything anyway,
I know my phone's screen will not brighten up with your messages
But I'm still staring at it anyway,
We both knew it's not gonna work
But we still tried
