I added some common card games we played to make it more my poem.

The Trivial Pursuits of my fun youth involved challenge more than I’m so Sorry or look for a Clue while driving freeway. We’d fend off Trouble without undue Risk during long winters playing Canasta or racking Cranium. Wins came brisk. Soon a rough Scrabble for food not garbage meant skills learned with Pinochle or Cribbage promised a better return on survival. Attitude, no Big or Little Casino, before a blocking Operation meant a Monopoly on Life without degradation like missing Whist or kisses.

I really like this. Was this contest ever judged? I can't even remember. I also came here to ask you about your latest contest. Do you have a sample of one your did yourself on a season? I am wondering when you say to use an "item" in every line, does that exclude things from nature such as flower or bee?

Password was my favorite all-time game. Now my favorite game is Ca-Doo. I played Monopoly last month. This poem made me think of all three; it is cheerfully written.
