Anyone

Would anyone care
If I weren’t there
Freshly out of bed
To say good morning

Would anyone notice
The empty chair
As they all gather
Sharing a nice meal

Would anyone miss, the
Loud laughter, and
Comical nature
That is now but a memory

Would anyone smile
And think kind thoughts
As they reminiscenced
Of times we shared

Anyone?

I have wondered exactly that throughout my life. Then, out of the blue someone reminds me they care. I enjoyed this poem so let me say, I care!

Thank you Virginia for the feedback. I care too :-). sometimes we have to remind people in our lives that they matter and are cared for
