Notes About The Poem

ANY SONG - Joseph May Contest

Well "Hello darkness, my old friend," Time for the sea and sky to blend. Daytime work will come to an end, And now homeward bound I will wend. At night with tired workers, I blend. Well "Hello darkness, my old friend." "Through narrow streets of cobblestone." In a crowd and feeling alone. "Are written on the subway walls", Phone numbers that no-one recalls. Well "Hello darkness, my old friend". Stay with me til home I ascend. With night I draw an alliance. "Whispered in the sounds of silence." We’ll be together til night’s end. Well "Hello darkness, my old friend."

Nice to see a song writer . The song is beautiful and blends with original classic song.
