Anxious Feelings

Feelings are splintered, splattered
Broken into kaleidoscopic pieces that do not fit
Like a rope twisted inside a body
Razor sharp, the currents inside rip the fabric of the outer shell

The snake motions to release
Ants crawl in the interior of the cranium
Ghosts gather in the vicinity and laugh demonically around the evil darkness of the sea

The insides churn as the vitriol of self leads to torment
Screaming with rage
Whipping around in the distance
As a multitude of pounding scarecrows beg to be free

Acid flows inside the body
Waving around the cord within
Splashing and moving from blood clot to blood clot
As it causes the insides to corrode

It is true that sometimes things must splatter
In order to begin again
Transformation begins from broken -ness
As a new road is paved
