Listen to poem:

Anxiety a Monster

The world upon my shoulders
the thoughts they will not stop.
I want to scream out loud
But no one cares a jot.

Sleeps a distant memory
Worry a constant friend
There’s just no hiding place
When anxiety your new best friend.

Work just piles on the pressure
Them targets they must be hit
The price you pay your sanity
At least the profits will not be hit.

Your mind is in a frenzy
You’re emotions are on edge
Anxiety’s like a demon
That’s talking in your head
Telling you to worry
About the most trivial things
Draining all your energy
Sapping all you’re strength.

Anxiety’s a monster
It’s No one’s imaginary friend
Ignore its constant voices
Its advice please never heed
