Anticipation of You
I have no defense to the excitement that builds,
when anticipating seeing you again.
You have excited me like no other,
just the chance of you.
Before you are near,
my being changes demeanor,
a reaction by my physical self,
triggered by messages received,
thru the unknown pathways from the heart and soul.
The only remedy,
is you next to me,
the anticipation of you,
becoming the sweet reality of you.
Relaxation finally comes,
knowing we are together once more.
