Answering Machine Final Verse
I've had enough of the games & I can't allow this to happen again
I see the trouble you bring, the drama you fiend & want no part of this mess you trying to wrap me up in
I tried to direct you, chose to accept you but you chose not to follow & refused the help
Now out of respect boo I have to neglect you, I see that you're hollow, note taken, news to self
I'm the truest you'll meet, one of the realest that played
I went against all odds & tried to plant your feet but you insisted to stray
For a long time I chased you, dumbed myself down in the process going completely out of my element consumed
Caught in the thought, looking back on all that you did to me, my self stupidity is my only excuse why I never addressed the elephant in the room
Now it's over like a movies credits, roll call no more advancement in scenes
You're dirt off of my shoulders now I'm happy & sober, don't bother to call because all you'll get is my answering machine.
