Another Year of Life in Crystals of Silence
Another Year of Life in Crystals of Silence
Another year of life and I feel the quiet growing in me like a magic liquor,
not because life became easier like the floating silk of wind,
but because I learned to carry its burden like a crown of heavy stars,
each weight is a precious stone in the backpack of my tired soul.
I learned that love is not a butterfly but the anchor that binds you to the world,
that love is sacred responsibility woven from threads of gold and obligations,
that being strong means staying gentle like wax in the flames of life,
and that maturing is accepting the burden of those who depend on you fragilely.
There was a time when I dreamed only for myself in the garden of my selfishness,
now each prayer of mine carries a constellation of other names,
in each whisper to God float the faces and destinies of others,
I no longer ask for happiness for myself but strength to carry everyone's cross.
I no longer ask life for joys like golden and shining candies,
but I ask for patience like an ocean without shores and strength like a mountain of jade,
I ask to keep my heart soft like wax in this world of cold stone,
to remain human in a jungle of sharp metals and hearts of frozen concrete.
Thank you to those who remained like faithful stars on my nocturnal sky,
thank you also to those who left like meteorites through the cosmos of life,
to those who loved me madly with fire and to those who misunderstood me,
each of you sculpted me in ways that words cannot explain.
Still learning to breathe in the rhythm of life that flows like a river of mercury,
still healing from old wounds that pulse like dead stars in my chest,
still becoming the person that the child in me needed to meet,
grateful for this magical life and the lessons that transformed me.
