Another Year
Another year is over .
For some it was not kind,
But whether it was good or bad,
tonight we leave it all behind.
Tomorrow is a new day
and start of a brand new year.
Let's make it a positive one
for everyone we hold dear.
Let's forgive apologies not given.
Let's forget unkind things heard.
Let's make it a year to remember
by not saying a hurtful word.
Let's take the time to appreciate
everything positive within our view
and start the year with the attitude
that we, like the year , are new .
