Another Solider Fell Today

A young man fell today, someone's son or maybe a father, brother, husband, he gave his life for his country, will anyone remember him? At one time he did things all children do, just have fun and make dreams of what would be someday. War is a terrible thing, to come to young people, there has always been wars and will be to the end of times, but why, oh why do these young people have to die? To be taken from us at so young of an age. wrote 8-20-08 In memory of our brave men and women who have given their lives in every war, since the beginning of time.

When you look at the names on the monuments, most of them were fresh out of high school. The liberals would have us give away everything they died for. Vince

James, sadly as it seems if we didn't stand up to the aggressors we would not have a free nation, and I am sure that's not telling you something you don't already know. The really sadness of the whole mess is it has become big business and those are the ones that subside on safe ground putting our children in harms way.gather the ones that start these things put them in a cage and the one that crawls out is the victor. maybe they wouldn't be in such a hurry to start these wars, Blessings, Ron

Wonderfully conveyed thoughts of the casualties of war, which indeed are not so casual to the hearts of those left to mourn... I have often wondered when the world as a whole will get it right and learn to live in peace. I thank you James for sharing such a heartening read. God's Love and Many Blessings, Always, Adell
