Another Sleepless Night

Another sleepless night. 
Will you ever stop haunting me?
Another sleepless night. 
 I try to distract myself with stupid youtube videos.
Another sleepless night. 

Every time I close my eyes I see you. 
Every time the noise dies down I hear you. 
Every time I pull the covers over me I feel your touch.

Another sleepless night. 
I try to think about something else. Anything else. 
Another sleepless night. 
The thoughts go round and round in my head.
Another sleepless night. 

Every time another touches me now I think of you. 
Every time I walk alone I think of you.
Every time I imagine the future you pull me back to the past.

Another sleepless night. 
I am so utterly exhausted.
Another sleepless night. 
What would my life be 
if you hadn't assaulted me?
