Another Note

We have amassed so much We can do nothing with it But keep it in attics for the fire Junk after junk of our life We have bought all we can become To sit and stare across piles Like it was a mirror telling our eyes There is so much in us to spill out But we have not yet learned how to be angry We cannot learn Until we need to be uncivilize Until we are no longer dependent On little bottles of prescriptions To fence the barbarian in. I have seen the dump burning This world is not short of fuel for fire. It is just us being so protective Of what nobody will want tomorrow.
