Another Legends Been Lost-George Jones Tribute-1

Another legends been lost
The steel cries a little more
But what a meeting today
Up at Heavens door

He stopped loving her today
And it's been chiseled in stone
I walk the line once more
As they sing me back home

Chorus
What was left of the good
Has been replaced by the bad
He left country his music
While leaving us sad

So write me a song
Pen me a tear
Bring on the heartache
And pass me a beer

Remember those sad songs
When your not feeling blue
May they be the reminders
Of what not to do

Chorus
Don't take all that was good
And replace it with bad
Calling pop music country
As we lose legends like Hag

The Possum's up yonder
And Cash ran out
The Voice said all his goodbyes
How I'll miss that old sound
